Privacy Policy
How TechSogna, LLC collects, uses and protects your information.
Last updated: October 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how TechSogna, LLC (“TechSogna”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit techsogna.com or contact us. We keep this simple: we collect very little, we don’t sell it, and we only use it to run our website and our business.
1. Who we are
TechSogna, LLC is the company responsible for your personal information (the “controller” under EU and UK data protection law). We have offices in Austin, Texas (USA) and Amsterdam (the Netherlands). You can reach us about anything in this policy at info@techsogna.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you email us, call us or book a consultation, we receive what you choose to share, such as your name, email address, phone number, company name, job title and details about your IT environment or project.
- Contact form. When you send a message through the form on our Contact page, we collect your name, work email, company (optional), the topic you choose and your message. The message is emailed to us and a copy is kept in our website’s admin area so it isn’t lost. To block spam we also use a hidden form field, a short time check and a temporary, one-way coded version of your IP address that is deleted automatically after an hour.
- LinkedIn lead forms. If you request a call through one of our LinkedIn ads, LinkedIn shares the details you submit in its form with us (such as your name, email, company, job title and your answers to our questions). We use them only to contact you about your request and to schedule the call.
- Booking a call. The “Book a 15-minute call” button takes you to our booking page on Microsoft Bookings, which is run by Microsoft as our service provider. When you book, Microsoft collects the details you enter there (such as your name, email, phone number and answers to our booking questions) and creates the Microsoft Teams meeting and calendar invitations.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider records technical details when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the date and time. These logs help keep the site running and secure.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag. We use LinkedIn’s Insight Tag to understand which of our LinkedIn ads lead people to our site and to show our ads to relevant audiences on LinkedIn. It uses cookies and similar technology to collect information such as your IP address, browser details, the page you came from and the pages you view. LinkedIn does not share your identity with us; we only see aggregated reports. For visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, the Insight Tag only runs after you click Accept in our cookie banner. For visitors elsewhere it runs by default, and you can switch it off at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
- Web fonts. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends your IP address to Google when the fonts load.
We do not use Google Analytics or similar site-wide analytics tools, and we do not collect sensitive personal information through this website.
3. How we use your information
- To reply to your questions and requests, and to schedule and hold consultations.
- To prepare proposals and deliver the services you engage us for.
- To operate, maintain and secure our website.
- To measure how well our LinkedIn advertising works and to reach relevant professionals on LinkedIn.
- To meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for any purpose that you wouldn’t reasonably expect from the list above.
4. Legal bases (visitors in the EU, EEA and UK)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: contract (taking steps at your request before an engagement, and delivering the engagement); legitimate interests (answering business enquiries, running and securing our website); consent (non-essential cookies such as the LinkedIn Insight Tag, which you can withdraw at any time); and legal obligation (keeping business records).
5. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as much as they need:
- Website hosting — DreamHost, which hosts this website and its server logs.
- Advertising measurement — LinkedIn, through the Insight Tag described above.
- Web fonts — Google, through Google Fonts.
- Email, scheduling and productivity — Microsoft 365 (including Outlook, Microsoft Bookings and Microsoft Teams), which we use to communicate with you, schedule calls and hold meetings.
- Professional advisers — such as accountants or lawyers, where needed.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of our business. LinkedIn and Google handle data they collect under their own privacy policies: LinkedIn Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy.
6. Client environments and assessments
When we perform a Health Check, As-Built or other engagement, we may access configuration data in your Azure, Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365 or Nerdio Manager environment. That work is governed by our engagement agreement with you, not by this website policy. We use read-only access wherever possible, keep findings confidential to the contacts you name, and remove our access when the engagement closes.
7. International transfers
We operate in the United States and the Netherlands, and some of our service providers are based in the United States. When personal information from the EU, EEA or UK is transferred to the United States, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework (where the recipient is certified) or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. How long we keep it
We keep enquiries (including contact-form messages and bookings) and client correspondence for as long as we have a business relationship with you, and generally no longer than three years after our last contact, unless we need to keep it longer for legal, tax or accounting reasons. Server logs are kept for a limited period set by our hosting provider. Cookie lifetimes are set by LinkedIn.
9. Your choices and rights
Cookies and advertising
Use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page to accept or reject the LinkedIn cookie, or to change your earlier choice. We remember your choice for six months in a small first-party cookie (ts_consent) that contains only “accepted” or “rejected”. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can control how LinkedIn uses your data for ads in your LinkedIn account under Settings → Advertising data. Blocking cookies won’t stop you from using this website.
If you are in the EU, EEA or UK
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information; to restrict or object to how we use it; to receive a copy in a portable format; and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority — in the Netherlands, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
If you are in the United States
Depending on your state (including Texas), you may have the right to confirm whether we process your personal information, access it, correct it, delete it, get a portable copy, and opt out of targeted advertising. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision.
To make any request, email info@techsogna.com. We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law (generally one month for EU/UK requests and 45 days for U.S. requests). We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) on this website, access controls and multi-factor authentication on our business systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the authorities of a breach where the law requires.
11. Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
13. Trademarks

Microsoft, Azure, Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Nerdio, Nerdio Manager and other product and company names shown on this site are trademarks of their respective owners.
